This Saturday, Nov. 6th kicks off the beginning of

16 Main Gallery's 12 Gifts of Christmas Classes.

We begin with a Poinsettia Ornament Class from 10-12 with Dianne Hart

followed by a Beach Painting Class from 1-3 with Lisa Riccardi

Had a Great Night

16 Main was exploding with talent at the Feed Your Palette Paint night with the Madison Council Wives and instructor, Michele Lee. This group of women did a great job! They raised a total of $285.00 in art scholarship money for some lucky winner. A drawing will be held at the Madison Street festival in October for the winner of the free art classes!!!

Thursday Nights at 16 Main!

Thursday nights at 16 Main are always fun! There is also a concert at the Gazebo across the street at 6pm. So, come on out, bring your family and friends, get your lawn chair set up and then come see what NEW ART we have created this week at the studio , before the concert.

The artists love having you drop in. And what better way to spend your Thursday evening in Madison, than with art and music!

Grand Opening- June 4th, 2010

The artists of 16 Main, cordially invite you to help us celebrate the opening of our new home in Madison's beautiful historic district.

5pm, Friday

16 Main Street, Madison, Alabama

The honorable Major Paul Finley will join us to cut the ribbon and officially welcome the public to our new community of artists. This will be a great opportunity to meet the artists, tour the studios and see samples of our work offered in our gallery.

There will be wine, hor d'oeuvres and door prizes. Along with the Madison Belles, there will be a guided Spirit Stroll at 7pm.

Please feel free to share this invitation with others. This is just the beginning of a wonderful new chapter in Madison's history. We hope that you all can join us for an exciting evening of art and fun!

Sneak Peak

Here is a little sneak peak at what has been going on in the big yellow house.

Artists are creating!

Ned is getting the kiln fired up, while Greg is hanging all the lighting. Terry and Abner are busy creating a beautiful walkway for our guests.

Paint is going on, shelves are being hung and studio doors are getting a whole new look!

The parking lot has been packed this last couple of weeks, day and night. The artists are trying to get ready for the big Grand Opening!

SA's job of doing the Spirit Strolls is wonderful. But we have found that he is pretty handy with power tools as well!

A Whole New Life

What do you get when you add art and an historic home? Something rather remarkable! This old house, formerly known as the Clay House Museum, is getting a whole new life!
