A few pictures from last weekend at the gallery

This weekend at the gallery, we enjoyed Angela True's artist reception!...In spite of the rain and thunderstorms.

We prepared with a little spring gardening and some GREAT food!!!

The smells of candles being made in the classroom at the "candle making" class, filled the gallery with yummy-ness!

As a few students quietly set creating "Poppies" in the watercolor class, the gallery seemed to hum with the feeling of being at home.

Thanks to all the artists and friends who came out this Saturday to support Angela and the gallery. Your smiling face is why we do this :)

CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE TODAY

Please join us in Madison Alabama for Historic Downtown Madison's Christmas Open House. The Merchants of Madison are hosting an all day Open House from 10am until 5pm.

Santa is expected, so tell all the boys and girls. We will also get to enjoy carolers several times throughout the day.

Grand Opening- June 4th, 2010

The artists of 16 Main, cordially invite you to help us celebrate the opening of our new home in Madison's beautiful historic district.

The honorable Major Paul Finley will join us to cut the ribbon and officially welcome the public to our new community of artists. This will be a great opportunity to meet the artists, tour the studios and see samples of our work offered in our gallery.

There will be wine, hor d'oeuvres and door prizes. Along with the Madison Belles, there will be a guided Spirit Stroll at 7pm.

Sneak Peak

Here is a little sneak peak at what has been going on in the big yellow house.

Artists are creating!

Ned is getting the kiln fired up, while Greg is hanging all the lighting. Terry and Abner are busy creating a beautiful walkway for our guests.

Paint is going on, shelves are being hung and studio doors are getting a whole new look!

The parking lot has been packed this last couple of weeks, day and night. The artists are trying to get ready for the big Grand Opening!

SA's job of doing the Spirit Strolls is wonderful. But we have found that he is pretty handy with power tools as well!
